Courtesy visit by Dr. Fiona Braka: WHO Country Representative, Ghana

We were honoured to receive a courtesy visit from Dr. Fiona Braka, Country Representative for Ghana, on July 15 2025. The visit was an opportunity for us to discuss our ongoing collaboration and explore ways to strengthen our partnership in improving global health. During the visit, we discussed various topics, including:

Global health initiatives: We exchanged views on current global health challenges and initiatives, highlighting the importance of collaboration in building workforce capacity.

Collaborative projects: We reviewed our ongoing collaborative projects and explored new areas of future collaboration.

AFENET technical areas: We discussed the technical areas that AFENET supports and footprint across the continent and beyond in addressing emerging health challenges.

The courtesy visit reaffirmed our commitment to collaborating on addressing pressing global health issues. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and exploring new opportunities for mutual benefit.
